When is it time to have your kid come in the house? Dark? Is it ok for them to stay outside playing even if they know everyone? I think kids 12 and under should be in when the sun sets. I don’t think it matters who is outside or what they are doing. I think curfews are good. I think it shows them a sense of time and responsibility. I mean I know kids like to have fun, but having fun is what they had been doing already before it got dark. Fun time is over. They need to realize there is a time for everything. A 9, 10, 11 or 12 year old doesn’t need to be running around outside after dark.

With all that said the kid was out a little past dark tonight and last night. Now she does know all the kids, but it still makes me feel uncomfortable. I like her in after dark. So I guess a new rule will be enforced. Be in when the sun goes down.

We are going to see the Oakland A’s and S.F. Giants at AT&T park this weekend! Weeeeeeee…. The kid is excited. So am I spring is all about baseball and I’m all about both. I love to share my love of baseball with my daughter. Its like a father and son thing, but of course with mother and daughter.

Not to change the subject, but Math hw rears its ugly head. I’m trying to get the kid to write the problem out then solve it. She is trying to hard to figure it out in her head for some reason and then just write an answer. I don’t get it really. I think shes trying to get it done faster. So I am on serious hw patrol. She needs to write those problems out! I just finished an intermediate algebra class, but i’m not a whiz by any means. I am a pre algebra type of girl.

anyway the kid needs to get her grades up or no disneyland this september with her uncle and grandma :/

so Genevieve got her ears pierced yesterday evening. She is so proud and she didn’t cry. Of course we knew she wasn’t because we already did this once before. They wern’t cleaned as often as they should have been before. Although she was supposed to take charge in the cleaning, I take the blame for not over seeing it. They got crusty and infected and I took the earrings out. That was over a year ago so the holes healed nicely. She wanted another go and she is older now. Plus Wal-Mart does it for the price of the earrings!!!! We ended up paying a little over $7. So she is a happy little gil and I’m happy shes happy :)
