I have decided to start a little home project to be more efficient with our power and money. After reviewing Yahoo!’s new Green website I thought it would be best to try some new things in our home on a day to day basis.

  1. I will start hanging clothes outside to dry. This will save on electricity.
  2. We already recycle. That brings in some spare change and we have less garbage.
  3. Also to cut down on garbage we are going to start a compost pile.
  4. We are going to us the compost pile in a garden that we are going to plant in the back yard.
  5. I am going to start planning my work route and errand route so I save fuel.

I have a big list, but I believe this will benefit our bank account and the earth in the very near future.
