You ever heard those radio commercials for monster truck rallies? I thought I would put importance on an otherwise uneventful day.

I was going to work today, but I think I will go tomorrow. I have somethings to take care of today anyway…

At the moment I am listening to the dish washer, a cat playing in the vertical blinds and Chocolat… You know that movie with Juilette Binoche and of course the little part played by our beloved Johnny Depp. I really love this movie and the lessons it teaches.

So I will be blogging today and cleaning my house as well as other errands that must be done… Just another Sunday Sunday Sunday!

!UPDATE!

The city of Tracy decided to do some type of work that involved turning our water and all of our neighbors water off. No notice or anything. So I called and of course there was no one there to answer the phone. No… not on a sunday…. But the water is back on and yes my garden did get watered…

So the day before yesterday I finished the final book in the Harry Potter series. Yeah it took my awhile, I’ve been busy dammit! Anyway I have this weird void now. Perhaps it is the same feeling J.K. Rowling talked about after she was done writing it. My mom also had been moping about after she was done reading it. I am sad that it is over. But I am quite satisfied with the ending.

Now I am walking around like Dumbledore holding these secrets from my Husband and daughter who don’t know how it ends. They don’t even know what happends in book 6! Anyway I will always hold all these characters close to my heart; yes even Voldemort (he looked pretty sharp in that suit in The Order of the Phoenix).

So farewell Harry Potter, I will start it all over again soon when you were only 11 x;)

We have decided to grow some vegetables. I know it is slightly late in the year, but it stays pretty warm out here until early November. This picture was taken before we planted. We planted on sunday so hopefully in the next week or two we will see some sprouts. This is part of our initiative to save money. Also we are using our rabbits poop for fertilizer. So we are recycling at the same time. I will be posting more on our garden as it developes.

She starts 5th grade tomorrow, my little Gryffindor. We went and checked out what room she is gonna be in and who her teacher is today. She has a man teacher this year which is a first. Anyway good luck to my baby!

I awoke today feeling sorta blue. I have been turning our finances around and it has been a chore to say the least. It is getting done, although we have to make sacrifices.

So I find out to day that my husbands paycheck was returned by our bank. Imagine my effing dismay. The owner of the company was trying to tell him the check was being held. No I’m sorry it isn’t. I talked to two different people at my bank and they said it was returned. It pissed me off because I was supposed to work today. I had a half of tank of gas and that just wasn’t enough.

So I have to see what happeneds tomorrow. I hope the check for my car insurance doesn’t bounce. Believe me my husbands employer will be taking care of all of my overdraw charges.

I was out in Winton today about 30 minutes from Modesto, Ca at my friend April’s new house. It is so beautiful. Her and her family are so happy. They used to live here in Tracy, but since Mountain House is going up they had to sell their property and get out. They deserve this house and It couldn’t have happened to better people. I am so happy for them. Anyway the house is beautiful. There is tile through the whole house and all three of her girls have their own bedrooms now. She has a gigantic back yard. I swear you could fit a soccer field back there. I am just so happy for her. Her husband works hard for his family and she works hard taking care of the family.

Now we have to work on buying a house x;)
