Today my husband and I have 1 year alcohol free. It really is his day, because he goes to AA. We have accomplished a lot in this year, but it takes a minute to clean up a drunken mess. We are still struggling financially (see previous post) because of things we screwed up when we were hittin’ the sauce. Well at least we don’ drink anymore aye?
With that being said I have been thinking of wine lately… dammit if they can drink it in catholic church WHY CAN’T I?! I am on the verge of throwing a two year old temper tantrum.
This is supposed to be a post of accomplishment. So yeah it is a big accomplishment to not drink for a year. Especially for a lush like me. If I do take that drink of wine, well you will be the first to know (whoever YOU are).
Not drinking brings plenty of good things, like better skin, more energy, no hangovers, no world wars, no DUI programs and valid licenses.
So I am not totally bummed that I don’t drink…
This is a huge accomplishment for my husband and I didn’t think he could do it. He knew he could, or he knew I would walk out that door.
Congratulations honey… being married to me and not drinking is a feat in itself… ha ha… x;)
