mother's day booty

And no... i'm not talkin' about my ass expanding because of that blasphemous Lindt white chocolate :)

I got ANOTHER Captain Jack Sparrow doll... which i am SO happy about, little white gold hoop earrings and of course the white chocolate all from my mom and my brother.

My daughter gave me 2 cards she made me and a hannah montana certificate and bookmark she printed off of disneychannel.com

my man sent me an ecard which was so sweet. I don't expect anything from him, he figures if I want something I'll go and get it myself... He was gone that morning helping out his friend and left me and my daughter to our own devices (that morning it happened to be cleaning and Johnny Cash).

we got my mother a humming bird feeder (she wanted it for her garden) and this friday i'm sending her an amazon gift certificate (we are low on momney, thank GODDESS she understands). She just left this morning to go back home, which is only about 45 minutes away.

We bbq'd hamburgers that day which turned out pretty decent... I like mine rare and they were... no one else was that happy about it, but its ok.... they either put there hamburger back on the bbq or picked out the pink meat.

anyway it was a lovely couple of days.

but yes i am a mom, alternative or not... i am a mom... most would like to say I am a mutha... but thats for a later post...

And the beautiful human that makes me a mom is the kid... shes nine and a super good kid... She has made it a joy to be a mom... more so than I probably made it for my mom...

Am i a good mom? I just have to say I am a mom, I give my daughter the nurturing she needs and I don't claim to be mother of the year... because I am far from it... as probably most of us are...

So happy mother's day to my mom who had the dubious honor of being my mother.. and Happy Mother's day to all you Mothers out there!

I am DONE with those two classes... and the kid is almost done too

oh my! those two classes killed me... cgi/perl and social problems... i posted my cgi/perl final in a previous post.. the social problems wasn't difficult... its just we were always writing some big damn paper. anyway now I am on to another class...

the kid's last day of school is right around the corner. Well, she will have a week off then it is off to summer school for her... the kids around here have been acting like its summer already... they come home from school, do their homework then its off to play in the water...who can blame them... its so friggin' hot already.

So is anyone else excited about PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 3: AT WORLD'S END? oh man I can WAIT! I might even go to the first showing by myself before my man and the kid get home... he he...

i'm just so happy I can breath now ;)

swamped!

I am so swamped with homework! I have two papers to write by wed night and two quizzes to take.

I finally finished my interactive web design class. this is my final
here. We had to install 5 cgi scripts and develop one ourselves. I developed a simple email script that log this emails sent from it and sends an email to me.

Anyway thats waht I have been up to... oh and I can;t forget the camping trip from hell.... ill save that for another day....
