Easter Candy

Easter candy is a staple in mainstream easter celebrating. Every type of candy formed in the shape of a rabbit or an egg. It was always something I looked forward to when I was a kid. I still look forward to it, I just can't pig out. The kid loves it. She has a ton of it to go through.

I love these Disney Malted Milk Eggs put out by Necco (http://necco.com) . 12 pieces at 180 calories. Not bad and the ice cream flavors are so good. Although the nutrients aren't very good it is still a yummy easter treat. I know ester is pretty much over, but If you go to the website you can find the malted milk balls as other products.

Peanut butter seems to be a popular easter candy selection. Reeses (http://www.hersheys.com/reeses/) has formed there yummy chocolate covered peanut butter in to an egg. 1 egg Is 180 calories and actually have4 grams of protein.

Leave a comment... what are your favorite easter candies?

saint patrick's day - sunny at the river

We went out to the river again today (check out eyeCandy). We only walked along the bank... we didn't fish today. But we are going back tomorrow for more walking and fishing this time.

Anyway it was a lovely day. I got this coppertone spray on sunblock. It is spf 50 for babies and it is so wonderful. It doesn't leave you feeling greesy and it protects your skin. We also wear hats to keep the sun out of our faces.

We usually bring other things to do because Genevieve gets bored of fishing pretty fast. Or we collect things (rocks, water plants). Its a nice place to go to enjoy nature and its not that far from our house.
