I have been indulging lately. In bad vices, good food and evil money. I haven’t been working out like I used to and I am way out of shape. For the most part I am healthy. I don’t drink soda, well maybe once a week, I eat my veggies, drink water, etc.

I feel tired, I feel blah, I feel like I am almost 32…

Oh wait, I will be in two months.

I don’t want to feel sluggish. I don’t want to drag myself in from work, and plop down to two or three bad vices, then pass out. I need energy, I need good sleep, I need a flatter belly good dammit. I only want to lose about 15 pounds. I am realizing that I need to change my ways, again.

A couple weeks ago I was frantic with finding a new job. Taking pictures of cars in all sorts of weather just wasn’t cutting it. I threw out my ambitions of being a professional web designer, because I really don’t like designing for people anyway and I even quit school, for now. I had to pull myself up by my bootstraps and get a job. And boy did I.

I am making good money and I move a lot. Yes I am happy with that. I was always at the computer, now I just read the news. I hate sitting all the time, it messes up my back, and I gain weight x;(. The job consists of Shipping and Receiving, what I used to do. Plus I get to utilize my background (kinda) in Semiconductor and Electronics. So I will be blogging about me, my family, pets and well, just normal stuff and normal life.

I’ll have my weekends back and my evenings with my family. We also had to give up homeschooling, which is disappointing, but we wouldn’t be able to carry on with that. Although I still can’t stand this school district, I hope there is a good elementary school SOMEWHERE around here. The kiddo will be back in public school by next week.

I am happy now. I have a job I like and can tolerate, I am making good money and we can pay bills AND have fun again. x;)

My daughter started scratching the week she came back from Disneyland in September. So I switched the cheap ass detergent we were using back to the perfume free / dye free detergent we usually use. It seemed to clear up. Off and on there would be flare ups. She would scratch until it bled. I felt so bad. Then it would go away and then be back with a vengeance. Well I did one of my legendary searches on the Internet and came up with some interesting information.

First off I didn’t take her to the doctors… yet. I don’t feel that she is in any danger and with what I have conjured I think she will heal. I discovered that a change in diet and flax seed oil can help eliminate eczema. I also learned that childhood vaccinations can trigger eczema. I asked G when it was she started itching. She recalled itching a week after here Hep A and Chicken Pox vacc. I was immediatley cursing the establishment and Kaiser when I put 2 and 2 together. But of course Im not a blood sucking doctor so what do I know. I do know that my daughter has BEAUTIFUL skin and now she has eczema on her fore arms, elbows, knees and one of her feet.

I also learned that if a biological parent had hay fever (that lame sperm donor had it) the child could be susceptible to eczema. So now I am blaming that idiot and Kaiser because my baby itches!

She is drinking water and tea and staying away from junk food plus taking flax seed oil, 1 tablespoon 3 times a day in her yogurt. At least she better be. I had to take her to my brothers so my mom could take care of her and give her the attention she needs while I took care of work. Plus our heater is out and our landlord is coming tomorrow to fix it. I get her back on Sunday and wewill of course continue the regimen.

So I’m hoping with the change in diet, flax seed oil and plenty of water, she will be able to beat this damned eczema!

I needed some newness in my life. Since I can’t afford to buy anything I changed my blog layout again. I shouldn’t have wasted time on it given everything I have to do, but I’m just getting well and I am stuck in a rut…. again. Oh well I’ll have to climb out of it tomorrow, well later on today, anyway. Its almost 2 in the morning and I’m still up. I have been fighting insomnia lately. I have been sleeping weird hours.

I have a lot to do today. Work and homework. Same old, same old.

I have been squinting for more than 15 years because I am near sighted and I don’t want to wear glasses. But i know the time is soon coming when I have to get glasses. Now I have also priced glasses and some prices are just ridiculous. With ridiculous prices also comes limited style. So I have to say that www.ZenniOptical.com’s great prices and cool styles really caught my eye. x;) I know these are prices I can work with and there are plenty of nifty styles to choose from.

I started my workout up again. I did cardio Wednesday, and last night I worked on hips, butt and thighs… my big time problem areas. So now today I hurt like hell. It didn’t happen until this afternoon that I started getting sore. Well I am on my way to a better looking something…

I was realizing today that my weight ticker probably won’t move for a bit. I am doing the “eating right” thing and working out so I’m not going to lose weight instantly nor do I want to. So yeah. And I have been eating too much… but everything I am supposed to eat, fruits, vegies and of course water. It sucks, but I get to eat more. I can’t eat junk anymore anyway, it always makes me feel icky. I love fruit so much.

I do like candy still, but only really good candy. And sugar free Ice Cream. I can’t be a total saint x;)

Wish me luck on my workout tonight. I am going for the abs, arms and shoulders x;)

Now I must say I am impressed. This is a shampoo you just spray on, no water needed, its dry shampoo!

Salon Graphix has a genius product. I don’t know if anyone has heard of it, I know this is a first for me. Salon Graphix boasts easy to brush off, leaves hair revitalized no white powder or oil residue and leaves your hair clean and shiny! Wow, those are amazing claims! I would LOVE to try this product. A BIG plus about this product: it comes in shades, Black, Brunette and Blonde and Silver. Not a bad price either. For 8 bucks a bottle I would make the investment.

I have dyed black hair and there are days I don’t like to wash my hair due to color loss or just dry hair. I usually shower every other day so this would be perfect to keep my hair clean and smelling fresh. I mean it matches almost all hair colors, there’s no water needed, its good to have on hand for emergencies, you can preserve dyed hair longer. I could also see it used on the whole family, maybe waking up late for school. I have to admit, I think it’s a pretty neat idea. I will consider trying it.
