I used to have this big desk. It was a sweet desk, but when we moved we sold it. It was too big for our new place. So now I sit at the dining room table and hack away on my Laptop. I would purely love to have my own little Workbench. I have worked in places that utilized these types of workbenches and I always wanted one at home.

I live in an old Victorian house. It is split up into 2 apartments and we have the entire top floor. Now it is a bit drafty and we do have a heater, but it is a slight eye sore. It sits on the ground by the wall with a pipe going into the wall to got out a vent. Now if I were to choose a heater it would be a nifty wall heater. At desatech.com they provide gas infrared heaters that mount right in to the wall. These heaters are easy to install and are vent free. That would eliminate the ugly pipe problem and it would save space our current heater takes up. Check out desatech for some pretty cool heaters x;).

I am not used to living in an apartment. I did When I was a kid. Always going to the laundry mat with my mom. The past 10 years I have lived in places where I had a washer and dryer. So needless to say I had forgotten what it was like to drag laundry to the laundry mat.

We then spent close to $40 in quarters to wash. They make you load up the washers with quarters and the dryers are free. So at least we don’t have to pay for both. We had SO MUCH LAUNDRY. It was ridiculous really. We had been running low on money and we hadn’t done laundry in like 3 weeks. :/ Good thing we all have lots of clothes and towels. The bad thing about it though is that it eventually has to be washed.

I am always trying to contain dirty laundry around here, because I hate fucking stacks of clothes. So I stuff them in laundry baskets or garbage bags until laundry day.

Anyway I am so glad it is all done…. for this week.

today we cleaned. We cleaned everything. I still have the big project of sorting through all my personal junk and I have no clue when that will get done.

I am flunking a class and I am depressed about it. I just havent had the heart for school, but I feel I should still attend for various financial reasons. I have never all out flunked a class while I have attended school online. Kinda embarrassing really. So I am dealing with that.

We finally got the automotive problems solved and now I have work to catch up on because of that. My day to day trials and tribulations are challenging to say the least.

Well, I have my thumb up my ass. I am screwing around on here when I should be doing something to prepare for tomorrow. Ahh crap… I still have work and HW to catch up on.

We aren’t having a traditional turkey dinner. I said EFF that this year. We are going to grill turkey breasts and have Indian tacos. I thought it was fitting.

And yes, I am one of those stupid bitches that has already started decorating for x-mas. And yes I just called it x-mas. I’m feeling it and that should not be tampered with! I’m usually depressed this time of year and I have reason to be. But dammit the lights in the windows are pretty and sparkley!

Anyway I am also trying to devise a way to hang silver bead garland on this nifty mirror I have in the living room. So far it has just become a toy for the cats.

Anyway I am off actually to go wash bird crap off my car and start my manic night before thanksgiving cleaning and preparing…

We have been moving for 3 weeks. Yes, 3 effing weeks. Today we did the final clean out. General cleaning, getting rid of garbage and given things away. We were there for about 5 hours today.

I scraped caulking of all away around the bathtub. I wanted to do that instead of cleaning the stove… i felt like a man… haha… my husband cleaned the stove x;D.

So now I am in the middle of homework (installing oracle on my laptop and talking about hate groups) and I need to work on some work.

Anyway I am happy we are out of there. I don’t think that place ever had a very good vibe, but like every relationship, i am still sad. It is like a loss almost.

I am a horrible organizer. My things, my schedule…everything. I gutted my office yesterday, but have filing to do and a bunch of other stuff. Now I am writing this blog post about organization. Weare also organizing our finances. I did the budget again today and we will be late on rent again.

It all is working out. I have filed away the majority of my files in file boxes and my plastic file boxes are now for current files. I have all my internet books lined up with bookends right here on my desk. I still do have a pile of stuff to file. I am plugin’ through it all though.

Good news though. I will start marketing for the company I work for. Much needed experience, plus more money for me! This will start the first week of September.
