this week in the news… i can’t believe it

You know, I can’t believe what I read sometimes. I mean they say (whoever “they” is) don’t believe everything you read. Then what happens when the unbelievable is true?

I know everyone on goddesses green earth has read about the woman on the toilet for 2 years. That was a big WHAT THE FUCK? seriously man… I started thinking about all the things I did in the last two years while she was sitting on the toilet. That is just crazy.

Then I read about a stupid bitch that threw her 2 sons, 6 and 8 years old, and herself off a freeway over pass in Dallas, Texas. Yeah I know you read that one too. What dumb Bitch. Seriously. Leave your kids on the sidewalk and jump by yourself in front of a Semi. Dumb hoe.

Oh speaking of hoes… How about New York’s, now former, Governor. He’s a dumb bitch too. Is there a reason his wife hasn’t filed divorce papers yet? Is it because he is an a heir to some real estate fortune. Thats the only reason I’d be sticking around. Then I would speand his money on parties and hot young guys. What a puto.

a little update on me and my J-O-B. Its a rad job, a tad crazy at times, but I love it.

And will Britney Spears just go the fuck away already?

Clinton wins California
Wed 6 Feb 2008 - Filed under: Life, Politics — saintamyjane

I’m so happy that Hillary won the California primary. It actually makes me happy to be a Californian. I didn’t vote. I couldn’t make it yesterday due to crap beyond my control.

Although I didn’t vote in the primary and don’t have a red cent to contribute to her campaign, I really hope she wins. I believe we need her in the white house and she would be the best Commander in Chief. As a woman, a mother and someone that wasn’t born with a silver spoon in my mouth, I believe she will fight for the small people. I have always admired her push for suitable health care for American’s and who gives a shit if she voted for the war? All American’s were on that bandwagon and she wasn’t the only one who voted for it.

I have always liked her since I was a kid and wanted to vote for Bill, but was too young. I applaud her as a woman, a mother and a politician. I just hope she wins, for woman and mankind.

Children’s Medical Insurance
Mon 29 Oct 2007 - Filed under: Health & Beauty, Parenting, Politics, WTF? — saintamyjane

I go through the state program for my daughter’s health insurance. Here in California it is called Healthy Families. Being self employed I have no insurance for myself, so given the fact that my income isn’t that much (yet x;) ) I qualify for Healthy Families for my daughter.

So with all this hub bub about children’s insurance in the news I didn’t realize it was going to affect us. I mean HELLO MCFLY. Can you believe how dumb I was not to realized they were talking about US? So when I finally connected the dots I got stressed out and frustrated.

Bush says he vetoed the bill because people that can afford insurance or recieve benefits would still be able to qualify… wtf? Why the hell would that happen? Why would they write a bill that would let RICH PEOPLE get state insurance for their kids. Either the president is an idiot (I know, I know… he IS an idiot) or The bill sucked and someone felt sorry for the rich kids too. I’m sorry I don’t feel sorry for rich kids (Lindsay and Britney I’m talking to you… you are also still kids until you grow the EFF up).

Why do the kids that need this kind of stuff the most get screwed? This bill doesn’t pass… kids with money STILL get insurance, but mine doesn’t… I guess that would then become my fault right?

So as of November my child has no insurance. Thank you Mr. President for funding that dumb ass war of yours in two days and keeping the money from the kids.

Columbus day scarier than Halloween?
Mon 8 Oct 2007 - Filed under: Politics — saintamyjane

Are you mostly of European blood? White? It is probably safe to say that many of are back grounds reach back to the first settlers. Yep those pesky white boys that decided to annihilate the Native Americans. I don’t mean to sound like its funny, but I don’t want to piss off the white man.

We celebrate Columbus Day. I mean who really celebrates it? Its a day off from school, the damn bank is closed and the damn mail doesn’t come. Something tells me thats how it was for the Native Americans the day Columbus decided to invade: Life came to a halt, literally.

I am mostly of European decent. I had family that came over in all the immigrations, the most recent in the early 1900’s when my Grandfather and Grandmother came from the Azores. So, yeah technically I have ties to our countries past woes, as do many of you…

I don’t see how we can celebrate a man that was a brutal bigot. That basically headed the biggest genocide in history. He wasn’t great. He was a murderer and a thief.

And yes I am teaching this to my daughter. Because you won’t hear about his atrocities in an American public school.

Where does that leave me? Should I leave the country? Should all us whites go? Do I deserve to be a citizen? Should we dislike our fore fathers for the crap they did to non-white races in the country?

It really makes me sick. I am ashamed to call my self American. There are so many reasons.
