A couple weeks ago I was frantic with finding a new job. Taking pictures of cars in all sorts of weather just wasn’t cutting it. I threw out my ambitions of being a professional web designer, because I really don’t like designing for people anyway and I even quit school, for now. I had to pull myself up by my bootstraps and get a job. And boy did I.

I am making good money and I move a lot. Yes I am happy with that. I was always at the computer, now I just read the news. I hate sitting all the time, it messes up my back, and I gain weight x;(. The job consists of Shipping and Receiving, what I used to do. Plus I get to utilize my background (kinda) in Semiconductor and Electronics. So I will be blogging about me, my family, pets and well, just normal stuff and normal life.

I’ll have my weekends back and my evenings with my family. We also had to give up homeschooling, which is disappointing, but we wouldn’t be able to carry on with that. Although I still can’t stand this school district, I hope there is a good elementary school SOMEWHERE around here. The kiddo will be back in public school by next week.

I am happy now. I have a job I like and can tolerate, I am making good money and we can pay bills AND have fun again. x;)

I needed some newness in my life. Since I can’t afford to buy anything I changed my blog layout again. I shouldn’t have wasted time on it given everything I have to do, but I’m just getting well and I am stuck in a rut…. again. Oh well I’ll have to climb out of it tomorrow, well later on today, anyway. Its almost 2 in the morning and I’m still up. I have been fighting insomnia lately. I have been sleeping weird hours.

I have a lot to do today. Work and homework. Same old, same old.

SweetIM is pretty sweet. They say they don’t use adware/spyware and I haven’t detected any yet.

I think this is a great bit of software and essential for people you like to use smilies in their emails and instant messages.

The hard times seem so hard when we are in the middle of it. I know I just have to work hard to get out of this situation and just accept and deal with things. Instead of stressing and getting depressed. It doesn’t help anyway right? right.

today we cleaned. We cleaned everything. I still have the big project of sorting through all my personal junk and I have no clue when that will get done.

I am flunking a class and I am depressed about it. I just havent had the heart for school, but I feel I should still attend for various financial reasons. I have never all out flunked a class while I have attended school online. Kinda embarrassing really. So I am dealing with that.

We finally got the automotive problems solved and now I have work to catch up on because of that. My day to day trials and tribulations are challenging to say the least.

I have set up my daughter’s user account and she will be posting today.

I didn’t realize wordpress categories weren’t treated like tags. Learn something new everyday. So I have converted my categories to tags and set up a tag cloud. I love tag clouds how they fade to different colors and the tags with the most posts are a larger type and tags with less posts are smaller type. I know you probably know how they work, its just exciting to me. Yeah I am easily pleased… yeah right.

Well tomorrow (sept 13th) is my 31st birthday. I freaked out when I turned 30 and on top of that I had MAJOR drama going on at the time. What a difference a year makes. I am now married, have a new car and a new apartment. I start school up again on my birthday which is a slight drag, but essential nonetheless. I feel better than I did a year ago becasue it has almost been a year (on sept 25th) that I stopped the sauce. I really don’t want to look old before my time.

I know I keep talking about my daughter posting here and she will soon! We have been so busy and the poor girl is getting used to her new school, wearing uniforms, doing HW and she come with me to work sometimes. So I think she might post on here this evening.

So we brought our last family member over from the old house last night. Our bunny Diavolina. She is a BIG white bunny. We went and bought her a brand new cage and saw shavings last night. She was the easiest to transport. A lot easier than the noisy cats. I have to put up a picture of her. She is really cute.

Anyway I am staying home all day today to clean and organize this damned apartment. I’ll be hopped up on coffee and probably betchy by the end of the day…. whats new really?
